The Matching Pairs

The Matching Pairs, formed in 2023 in North Devon, England, brought together passionate musicians with years of experience, who had a mutual passion for all things Funk & Soul.

The band currently consists of five members: Gareth Hadley on keys and lead vocals, Patrick Costelloe on lead guitar, programming and backing vocals, Kevin Chandra on bass, Christy Rice on vocals and Justin Beckley on drums and all things promotion and IT.

With a professional PA system, top-grade instruments and other gear, the band can cater to venues both small and intimate, to large and rambunctious. 

They have an attention to detail when rehearsing, that the band then brings to any live performance and results in a high-energy, in-the-pocket funky & soulful style that is true to the original recordings or live performances, but while introducing our stamp to some more pop/rock based covers from recent years.
